my tv says 190 watts and my satelite is 45 watts. i guess my problem is that my panel is not at an angle.the panel is almost level. i already installed on my roof but i could put at an angle. should i angle it at 30 or 40 degrees? canada is 120 60 yes,,thanks. i see you speak portugese , i was born in brazil but my parents were italians

That should run your TV for a few days. You will be using 4x the power your cells are generating but you will not be watching it 100% of daylight hours. Conservation you can do with what you have. If you watch a lot you will need more panels. ALSO UNPLUG THE TV WHEN NOT IN USE if possible. They can drain 50-100 watts when off. Are there set top boxes?
Does it have the watts?

Canada-you are 120v 60hz correct?

Hi,
A little of both. Much came from past experiences that I just accepted as common knowledge. Other is from trial and error. Also just searching. The net offers tons of fragments that can be pieced together in so many ways.

Serendipity, sound cliché but so much is offered there.

Most science fans who search Youtube have similarly great ideas, they just need to get their camera rolling:-)

thanks for quick answers. inverter 3000 watts cont. 12 volt panel but take into consideration that i live in montreal canada

What inverter do you have.
How many watts are you pulling how long.

Is it a 12v solar (20v no load) or 24v (40v)
